Wardrobe Box FAQ’s

  • What’s a Wardrobe Box?

    • It’s a box of wardrobe essentials {clothes, shoes, accessories, etc} hand-chosen by our expert stylist, Sarah, that gets delivered right to your front door!
  • Stitch Fix, Wantable, blah blah deliver clothes to me.. Why choose you?

    • Companies like the ones mentioned above are great.  Trust us, we did a LOT of research and tried them all.  Deciding on September Lane means that you are looking for realistic choices for a realistic budget.  It means that you want a best friend feel from your personal stylist, not someone from a large company ready to collect.
  • What brands do you carry?

    • We work with TRUSTED, hand-chosen brands on a boutique {rather than chain} level.  This gives our clothes a unique, comfortable feel AND a comfortable price tag.
  • How much can I expect to spend on a five piece wardrobe box?

    • Because our prices vary, it’s hard to say EXACTLY how much you will spend.  What we can tell you, is that all of our pieces are under $50!
  • I keep seeing this $12.95 fee.  What is that?

    • $12.95 is a shipping fee that you are charged in order to receive your wardrobe box.  It is the same fee no matter how many pieces your choose.  This is not a ‘styling fee’, it is strictly a shipping fee.  Don’t worry- you get that fee credited to your box bill if you keep everything!
  • Do you charge a styling fee?

    • NO- no styling fee.  EVER.
  • Do boxes send automatically?

    • Yes, boxes will ship to you every 6 weeks.  About ten days in advance, we will e-mail you to remind you of your upcoming fun mail :).  At that time the shipping fee will be charged.  It is also during that time that you can choose to skip the shipment.  It’s that easy!  Skip anytime.
  • Is there a skip box fee?

    • Never!  If you want to skip a box, just let us know in the timeframe from the previous question and your box will be skipped.
  • OK I’m ready- what do I do first?

    • Perfect!  We are happy you have decided to take the leap!  Start here with the Style Audit!  Once that has been completed, you will be redirected to checkout and your box will be shipped.
